I mean, the grammys suck balls! the only shit winning there are some stupid indie acts that exist like one year and get grammys cuz they're like MTV friendly bands....
or crappy nu-metal bands who contribute nothing to the modern music, like Slipknot! the only thing bands like those contribute are stupid boring riffs and repetitive songs like any other nu-metal band in the genre.

The only normal band that won a grammy was Metallica, while bands like Megadeth, Guns N' Roses, etc. were forgotten

Except the 2 album entries, yes. No surprise there. Not only is Walking Disaster more successful, but it's a better song.

They don't really have a chance with these ones, but we'll probably see a couple nominations with the Junos. Nickelback and Billy Talent both released their albums last year, so Sum 41 has a pretty good chance on the Canadian scene... Hmmm... Arcade Fire and Hedley, though... Shit.

nickelback's was in 2005. they are working on a new one. hopefully it will be out after the Junos. im theroizing that Billy Talent's new CD wil be out on or after summer 2008.

It better be out after the Junos. Or after the period of eligibility.
