Guitar Hero Fat Lip Cover

Hey anyone of you guys played Guitar Hero 1?
It has a cover of Fat Lip there (in the first, actually all songs are covers) and i mean... i wanted your opinion.
I think the cover really sucked. really bad vocals. I mean, they played it okay i guess, but the vocals were so annoying and so off the original.
btw, anyone knows who's the band that covered the song for the game? or was that studio covers especially for the game?
cuz there's this video in the game with some dudes who are responsible for the songs for the game covering 'em themselves at the studio.

the distortion on the guitar wasnt quite the same...it was close but yeah.

Yeah i also noticed the distortion was weird and it was lacking some distortion on some parts, but as said, yeah, the vocalist was so bad!
i'm just curious to know who he is, so bad... not even close to Deryck!

its probably not a real band, just some people that harmonix or whatever hired to go into the studio and record

maybe it was the band who covered the whole AKNF CD (which was horrible)

Yeah, definately sounds like a try-hard trying to make his voice sound awesome.
The chorus is what bugs me the most though.

for me, actually the quiet part of "don't count on me" sounds the worst, cuz like it's not enough the guy is whiny, so in this part, he's extremely whiny cuz it's a quiet part.

They should definately put out another Sum 41 song on a future Guitar Hero game. Like The Bitter End, The Hell Song, Over My Head, No Reason, or Still Waiting and Mr. Amsterdam... etcetera!

I hope Sum 41 gonna be on Rock Band!
Mr. Amsterdam or Welcome to Hell also would be great (although Welcome to Hell is too short).
and yeah, No Reason is a great idea too!
Or if they into the more popular songs... In Too Deep is good too. it has a solo :D

124 bucks? are you serious? damn, that's too much!
and Rock Band is a new from Harmonix, former Guitar Hero developer who left after GH II to focus on Rock Band instead of GH III.
Rock Band is practically like GH, only u also have a bass guitar (rhythm in tracks where avilable, like in GH), drums and microphone, who all connect to the PS2/PS3/Xbox360, additionally to the guitar.
And Sum 41 aren't in Rock Band yet, but god knows... Velvet Revolver were supposed to be in GH III but they aren't there.
What is super annoying in the current Rock band tracklist is that FALL OUT BOY are there...
WTF.... they are going downhill with their tracklist every time... what's next? Tokio Hotel? 30 seconds to mars?

Anyway, except Fall out fags, there's some nice songs that gonna be in Rock Band:
Run to the hills by Iron Maiden, Enter Sandman by Metallica, Blizkrieg Bop by the Ramones, Won't Get Fooled Again by The Who, Wanted Dead Or Alive by Bon Jovi, Detroit Rock City by Kiss and Highway Star by Deep Purple, plus it's gonna have also downloadable content and even full albums available for free download later.
For Now as full albums we're confirmed the albums - Who's Next (The Who), Nevermind (Nirvana) and additional undecided yet album by Metallica.
