GOBS gonna break up. their stuff has really gone down hill. Like Hentaimen said he seems to have been/is too busy with Sum do really deal with GOB. their last cd kinda sucks and their last vid is just god awful. its really pathetic. i think GOBS gonna break up and Tom will Become a full member of Sum (he;d be an idiot no to).....

I reall don't think they are going to make Tom a full member of the band.

It just doesn't sound right.

it doesnt sound right for him to be with Sum at all. :? they seem a bit out of their heads in that aspect.

Yeah I mean they call him brown tom he isnt brown hes white

I mean, maybe Gob's gonna break up, i'm actually pretty positive on that, which is too bad, but i mean, their last album was really pretty bad, but really, somehow i think they will not make him a full member in Sum 41, although i hope they will.
I mean, yeah, it's weird, and actually it's weird at all without Dave, but i hope he will become a full member cuz he's a really good guitarist, Dave himself praised him alot, and he could do some cool REAL solos for Sum 41's next record.

about the brown thing, i always wanted to ask, what's up with that? why they call him Brown Tom? to make us forget Dave or something?
i remember in the Q&A... they asked like, who's gonna replace Brownsound (that guy said Brownsound, not Dave) and Deryck i think answered, "we got a new guitarist who's even better, Brown Tom".
i mean, WTF, did he made up this right on place? to call Tom brown like he's replacing Brownsound?

Plus, in Dave's bio in Brown Brigade's site it says something like "giving space to a new talent for the band, Tom "Browntown" Thacker, for the band's new record Underclass Hero"

and he wasn't on Underclass Hero, they recorded the album before they even chose a touring guitarist.

I don't think taht but who knows...

If the sums will make Tom full member, Gob will definitely split, or like... tell they're okay, do a few shows after Sum 41's tour is over and then break up, like all those bands do.

If they'll wont make Tom full member, i think Gob will still survive although probably they won't be doing alot... cuz the last album pretty much sucks and all.

I think the "Brown Tom" thing started off as just as a joke, like "haha, Brownsound left and now we have Brown Tom." But I guess it sort of caught on.

Gob will probably break up pretty soon, but I don't think Tom will join Sum.

Yeah that makes sense, stupid joke, though haha.

And for Tom's sake's and sum's sakes, i hope they'll make him full member cuz he could contribute some rockin' solos and stuff to the next Sum 41 album.

i dont think gob is going to break uip well i hope they dont i thought there enw video was ok but it was just like give up the grudge.i think sum 41 should get a member to be in there permanenly but it semms kinda weird to see tom in photo shoots im kinda uise to him now

I always though he they called him Brown Tom as a joke and almost in respect to Dave because he is irreplacable.

TBH I'd rather him be a full member or not there at all, if he is a member he get more parts and maybe the next album will have better guitar otherwise though his vocals are good but when i see him live with that awful hair i'd rather someone else was playing back up tbh.

In my opinion it's no way disrespectful for Dave. I think it's a fun joke, since Tom is so white.

Yeah, IMO, it actually resepctful to Dave, the only Brown guitarist the sums will ever have, and as ChapStick said, it also can show how irreplacable Dave is, and that's like ironically they calling Tom brown while he's white and shit.

The Thing is , long before i knew it was Tom from Gob, in the Q&A and all and overall the sums said they have a new touring guitarist named Brown Tom... and i was, WTF?
They never said i was Tom Thacker, so i always assumed it was some new guy... like they looked up for someone with Brown in the nickname

But, i mean, Dave is good friends with Tom or something, and says Tom is very talented and stuff, and he calls Tom - browntown... what's up with that?
