Hey ive been wanting to ask this for a while now...Is it just me or did Deryck seem depressed during the Chuck era? I ask that cause when I see pictures of that era his face looked sad. :?

Yeah lots of times, and it's no surprise.
In many interviews Deryck himself and Steve and Cone too told how they never felt so connected and so together as a band since All Killer No Filler, and how Underclass Hero brought 'em together, cuz Deryck said he haven't felt they were a band in the Chuck era and it was getting bad, and after it, Deryck said he saw no reason to go further in that direction and they almost disbanded.

Good they returned to the roots, much mature, with Underclass Hero :D

lol, but, Underclass Hero wasn't much better than Chuck... hmm... nothing compares to All Killer No Filler, nothing they will ever do will. I don't think anyways. It all just starts to sound the same after a while.

Chuck is my favourite, at the moment at least.

Yea, he was upset cause he didn't get to make the album he wanted at the time. I blame Dave for that album, deryck wanted dave to play something he'd enjoy but apparently all dave did was be emo in the studio and brought the vibe down of the whole band, gg dave.

Or so we heard but sure we can relate to Dave cuz he wanted to do all the metal stuff and in the end we got a great punk/metal album.

Yeah, I don't mind if there was any troubles in studio or whatever, the end result was great.

He did seem really depressed. when I saw this post I went and looked at some pictures from that era.
