ok so i JUST got back from the brown brigade show in st. catharines. it was really really good. dave is a showman. i chilled with him for a while after the show. we talked about how he went to the oxygen bar just down the street and how it was complete bs and was stupid. also i told him that i needed to do an interview with him, so were gonna be doing that VIA email. then he signed my BB album and wrote his email (i already knew it, but yeah). the whole band was cool, i talked vith vaugn as well, hes a nice guy. also i talked with the new chuck guitarist guy, hes alright.
but anyways they did most of the album, hallowed cover, as well as a cover of the rage against the machine song "wake up" also he was saying something about him having a chrome barbeque and it made him excited and thats what the song "down with brown" was about. but yeah, it was pretty awesome. if i brought a camera i would have got him to say welcome to theresnosolution.com but yeah it was kind of a spur of the moment thing to go to this show anyways.
I've gone brown.

If already about Chuck.
Was Chuck also recording guitars for the album, or was it still The Craigulator who recorded the guitars?
and is it just me, or is Craig/Chuck playing the lead guitar while Dave the rhythm.
cuz Dave is THE guy for lead, and when Brown Brigade was formed, it said that former Sum 41 guitarist Dave Baksh is going to sing lead vocals and play lead guitar in his new band.
So now he became rhythm?
And was that Chuck playing with BB on the MTV Canada performance, right?
cuz i thought it was Craig in the beginning and Craig is stil listed in the band's website :?

Craig Pattison did guitars on the album. Chuck does the guitars now.
Dave does lead as well. If you had the album, you'd know that :P haha. I kid, I kid. But they alternate. Most songs have guitar solos from both Craig and Dave. Not to worry - Dave is still fucking belting it out.
It's more of just having two guitarists, rather than having a "lead" and "rhythm".
Yes, it is Chuck on MTV. Craig is no longer in the band, but he recorded on the album, and played shows with them before the record release on the Cross Canada Curry Tour with Pennywise.

Because Chuck is the new guitarist for the band, and will be recording on future albums etc. He is actually part of the band now. Whereas Sum 41 decided not to have their "new guitarist" as part of the band.

Dave and Vaughn are Brown Brigade, but the rest of the guys sure are part of the band. They get bio parts on the website and everything...
Nah, different Chuck than the one who saved them. Totally what I thought at first too. Chuck Cole, I believe is his last name. He's their new guitarist.

Thanks for the info, Asho_DirtyPoo, and yeah now i can hear it.
It is more like two guitarists rather than lead and rhythm although the MTV live performance Chuck did most of the solos while Dave played plain chords.
I guess Chuck is in a while in the band to know all the guitars and even to play some solos alone, yet his old Cauterize only announced about their breakup on September 12, and since then haven't played except for a one last show on October 19, i mean, a week ago.
So like, i dunno, he was pretty busy with the breakup with Cauterize and all, yet he managed to rock.
and its weird but yeah, in the BB website it says only Dave and Vaugh are Brown Brigade... and they feature also Johnny Owens, Craigulator and Cess Rock, like they're additional... but they ARE the band, its weird.
like they're touring members or something... not official part of BB, like Tom in sum 41.
