Since they seem to think Deryck's name is Derrick Whilbley, I don't really respect their opinion.

Mmh...the reviewer is actually totally right, but he exaggerates a bit. :)
For me the UH Album showed me: Not everyhere where "Sum 41" is written on, Sum 41 is also "inside" it.

The "Sworn under God bringing panic and confusion" bit sounds a bit like the "looking for an easy target" bit in Easy Target, I'll admit that.

Wow, just wow, some people are assholes. To think deryck was worried about what to write? Holy shit, he was fuckin excited to write this album and it shows....that guys just one of those critics who go along with whats popular right now, probably a gwen stefani fan...

I think it's partly because Green Day became pretty shitty after Dookie and American Idiot was like "finally, something decent from these guys!" So that was probably why it was praised so much.
