seriously wtf is with an "Avril Signature Guitar" and what a coincidence it gets released basically around Derycks.....Is it just me or is it just a quick money scheme by both...once again, im not trying to be negative, but its just things i think about ....Its as if it deliberately was done since they are married, which i think is bullshit cause that just is a sort of a crappy money making scheme to crappy/teeny guitarists with an impressionable mind...even gayer, that they are squiers, its as if they were DELIBERETLY targeted to kids, which to mean means its all about money!-so they know kids will buy them-which what it shouldnt be about!.. and wtf since when as avril been a noted guitarist, my 80 year old grandma can play 3 power chords too-why dont they release her "sig tele"- what are ur thoughts???

I agree with the Squier thing, it really seems like the fact that they aren't the original Fenders, means it's like meant for kids who know nothing about guitars and just want a guitar that looks good, like Deryck's or Avril's.
The fact that Avril has a singature guitar model coming annoys me cuz she actually played the guitar before but her new album is freakin' pop where she dances around with 20 more dancers in the background, like Britney Spears or something and she's definitely not touching the guitar, if there even is, and the guitars there is in the album were recorded by Deryck.
anyway, i agree that the deal with avril's guitar is all stupid.
Anyway, i'm waiting for you grandma's signature guitar XDD

I'm really pissed that Avril released a signature guitar, but I think she probably released her's because Deryck was releasing one, and for Deryck, at least, it's not money-related. I'm not sure why he released it with Squier, though.

Deryck could release two versions... Squier as a cheaper one and an actual Vintage Fender Telecaster like his own... it could be a better idea.

avril's is just a normal black tele with a checkered pickboard.
besides, ive never seen her play it.
a little off topic, but this keeps pissing me off.
is it just me or, when you search "deryck whibley" into an image search engine, more results are of avril than deryck himself. go on, try it!

That makes me REALLY angry. I'll be searching Sum 41 news and Avril will come up first almost every time because the articles always say something like "Lavigne, who is married to Sum 41's Deryck Whibley..."

Yeah, it doesn't really make much sense why Avril already has a signature. I mean... she probably played Tele's just because Deryck did.
