I'm surprised he didn't mention a Beatles song, after saying they're his favorite band next to Oasis...

^I disagree.
Plus that's not his influence, it's what he likes.

^It was a different type of list. It was something besides his favourite songs... most influencial for him or something.

Well unfortunatly the only way Kerrang feels it can make money is by filling their channel and magazine with emo crap so all the 12 year old girls who love Pete Wentz spend their money. I've never actually liked Kerrnag, i only buy it if Sum 41 are mentioned and maybe Green Day..

Probably when he took pics of his sargeant and then they got posted on the web for all the FOB teenie-fans to gawk at. I'm sure a lot of hia publicity must come from that.
Oh and that one Nirvana song that Deryck liked from that Kerrang article was Lithium, not Teen Spirit if I can recall correctly. And those were songs that had the biggest impact on him or something. Sum 41's 88 was part of that list because it was the song that made Deryck realize what kind of sound he wanted the band to have or something. I can't remember it 100%.
As for the other five... I don't know. I didn't grow up listening to that music so I don't think I can appreciate it as much as someone who has.

Pete Wentz is a good marketing scheme, the rest of fallout boy are geeky so they put someone who people would think is really cool on the easiest instrument just to get more fans!.
