I also sent a question to Dave's mail which was given here in the end of the interview.
Here it is:

Hello Dave!
I recentely red your interview with TNS.com and it was really great to hear from you and altough Sum 41 is my favorite band (especially with you), i'm definitely waiting for your Brown Brigade debut album after i heard Pure Bred and the Iron Maiden cover you did.
My Question is: Are you still friends with Deryck, Steve and Cone now? and even though you in a rival band now and you left them, would you still see yourself hanging out with them in backstage, for example, if you get into some festival together or even collaborating on something musical, like some song together?

his answer was pretty short, and i'm starting to think that maybe it's not even real :?

My thoughts are its just weird that Dave explainted he couldn't express his talent no more in Sum 41's music and suddenly in those series of questions, and i'm not the only guy who got answered and posted his answer here, all Dave's talking about is his hate for MTV, which i don't remember was mentioned at all. Plus, he basically says that he would be collaborating again with the Sums if not MTV.

and when they do play video's they are like 30 secs long, Mostly rap and R&B, and has a stupid prep in the bottom right corner giving shout outs to their faggot friends.

idk if i should post his reply to my question, but basically he's sick of the way the industry manipulates people to buy, promoting competition between musicians. Its not why he plays guitar.

Well if you say it's his mail for 100% so i can only say it's cool he answered me! :D
But, all the MTV subject really comes alot, it something he never mentioned when he left the band.
Is he saying that Sum 41 goes MTV and that's why he left?
I think sum are going their way, like always.

But about MTV, i hate it too.
I actually turned on MTV to see the Walking Disaster video on TV and all there was some shitty programs like "Pimp My car" or "Engaged & Underage" and other gay reality programs.
