I think it's time for a new dvd!
Go Chuck Yourself is a CD only.
Happy Live Surprise is sold as a CD only and as CD/DVD combo.
What's on the DVD for Happy Live Surprise? Just random live vids and music vids?
At one point I remember that Go Chuck Yourself was going to be a DVD, but Deryck or the band didn't like the camera work/editing, so it just became an audio CD.

Yeah, that was it. It was supposed to be put on DVD because Deryck told the audience that they were filming their new DVD and they were all going to be famous. Haha, but like I said, I think the band didn't like the camera work so they just made the CD instead.

Exactly.
The HLS DVD includes 5 or 6 videos from that setlist. We're All To Blame, The Hell Song, Fat Lip, No Brains and some other(s). Plus it has the Basketball Butcher video.

Wow. I didn't know that.. So the CD was the sympatico thing, then where was HLS filmed?

Same place. But the quality is like a 100 times better on the dvd. It's all in das media section.

Yeah, what Emil said. Go Chuck Yourself and Happy Live Surprise are the same thing, different title.
Yeah I didn't like how it was filmed either. Next time tell the camera man to focus on the guitar player when they're doing a solo rather than using a freaking wide pan shot of the venue.

Yeah, I hate that too. I mean, the solo is the lead guitarist's time to shine and sometimes you see the camera go to the bass player or the drummer and it's like, "What the hell, man? I want to see the damn solo!"
Yeah, the HLS DVD has actually like 5-6 videos that I guess were originally shot for that proposed GCY DVD, but yeah, the camera work is kinda lame.. although the quality is DVD and awesome and all, they barely show Dave, especially when he does solos... which is lame.
They played it last time in 2009, and the setlist from the 2009 tour was actually amazing!! They need to bring it back, with Mr. Amsterdam, No Brains, etc.
DeryckW wrote:Bring back No Brains and the solo like in Happy Live Surprise.
You mean the bridge? They played it like that in 2009 too.
But I prefer the one in DTLI era.
I liked the one from the Infected era tours too. It was longer too, I think. If they brought back No Brains for the upcoming tour, they should play a new bridge. Or switch it up and go back to the old one every once in a while.
