My question:
> I just finished reading yer interview with TNS.com and it was really interesting. I just wanted to ask what I am sure you get everyday...do you ever think you will be returning to sum 41, even in a few years? I hope brown brigade blows up as well of course, but Im not sure if you would be able to attract such a crowd that you are use too and you might start missing it....especially after performing in TOKYO! you guys are huge over there

-Kyle

Daves Response:
"Kyle I would return anytime but I don't want to do
interviews and go to pointless award shows. I think
all of that shit is fucking lame. I love Deryck, Steve
and Cone and will until I die. But I am tired of the
mainstream music priorities which are who is wearing
what label and saying the latest hip catch phrase like
that izzle shit. It undermines my true reasons for
picking up a guitar and I don't want to support the
de-education through media of people in this world. So
yes I would go back anytime but it would have to work
with Brown BRigade. So asking this type of thing of
good friends is really unfair."

i kinda thought about it too. He usually answers really short. And didn't he left because he couldn't express himself with his guitar the way he wanted? i could be wrong.

Dave said that the music industry was one of the big reasons for his leaving Sum 41 from the very beginning. He's just emphasizing that more now, and elaborating more.

I remember him saying once how he hated how radio stations and shit treated you..
And then look at what happened to Stevo and Cone, looks like he had good reasons.
But the gay thing is, if he doesn't like the mainstream music industry people will not be as likely to hear his new music,, which is a shame.

^Some dick wouldn't play their music because they wouldn't call up Deryck who was sick.
