Sum and blink

Maybe this topic have been created yet....but...what's the relationship between the sums and blink?,my two favorites bands ever.In All Killer No Filler,they thanks to "Mark,Tom,and Travis and blink 182".can anybody explain me why?(sorry my english sucks a lot)

They get along. Travis taught Stevo some drum techniques awhile back.

they toured with blink on the honda civic tour.. right before sum 41 blew up and white blink were supporting the take off your pants and jacket tour.

while the recordings of the best damn thing of avril deryck and travis were talking a while about it until it was record it
