I don't know if it has been discussed before, because I haven't seen it. So who made this song? Who are they talking about in this song? And I dont know if Deryck could speak French. Discuss! I need answers :?

I'm french so i can answer ....^^

The song "Ma poubelle" has a few mistakes....

First, Deryck hasn't a good pronunciation at all ! But it's cute lol

Secondly, he says "je commencerai dedans mes pantalon" and he has to say "je commencerai dans mon pantalon"so I think Stevo has written the song in english and he has translate it in french....

.....and

... i don't know who they are talking about in this song but they talk about a miss, and it is quite an insult because he says "tu es ma petite poubelle" that means "you are my little garbage can"....and he says "je chercherai des ordures pour toi" that means " i will find rubble for you"....
The worse: "je commencerai dans mon pantalon" that means "I will start in my pants"

In my view.... he probably don't like the "Miss" he is talking to lol

I'm french too, so I can say ophelie is right : Deryck's pronounciation is horrible ^^
But "Ma Poubelle" actually seems to be a pun. It does mean "my garbage can", but it also sounds like "ma plus belle" which means "my cutest (girl)".

I think it was written in French first, because it actually rhymes in French.

although...i was kind of confused when i did see the lyrics...it seemed like he liked the girl...yet he was basically calling her shit?

I'm not french but from trying to translate it it's pretty dirty.
It's basically saying this girl is a garbage can and he's going to find things to throw in her, starting in his pants. :D

he can actually say "mes pantalons". they are the same. ma pantalon, mes pantalons both mean "my pants". im french/english/chinese too yu kno, im naw stupid. yu kno chinese parents, they'll want yu to study sumthin until yur damn smart at it.
