Btw, did you guys notice that the cross and the red "wings" of the album cover design were used in the advertisement for Deryck's warm up shows with the Happiness Machines on 2015? I've noticed that like 2 month ago or less don't remember, but I was thinking on post about it but I forget to post it but yeah basically the cover was there for a long time, I mean before they show us the cover and the tracklist

Just listened to the album for the first time. All you guys complaining about the quality and mix we're listening to a shitty leak because everything sounds perfect in the official release.

I need to listen to the album a few more times before I can really judge it but I really really liked some songs on the first listen. Some parts are over produced but I've almost come to expect that.

As of 1:00 am eastern time, the album is already #12 overall on iTunes and #3 in the rock charts. Must have been a ton of preorders!!

Guys, I just got the email about the latest update from PledgeMusic. I tried to go to the download section but it won't let me as I expected because I preordered the regular CD which doesn't give full access to the download of the album :( I would have preordered the signed version but it was sold out already. I don't know if it's right to ask this, but if someone is willing to help me and share the files with me I'll really appreciate it :/ (I still haven't heard the album yet). Even though this was their decision, I think that everyone who helped to fund this project deserved to have access to the download of the full album...

EDIT: Ok I finally listened to it. I wasn't sure on the first listen, but I just had to regulate the volume of the speakers and on the second listen... I found I LOVE IT! From start to finish! I think my favorite track is The Fall and The Rise from the previously unreleased ones, but things might change as I listen to the album a couple more times, who knows!? Thank you very much Jacob, I really appreciate your help! :)

I don't want to say much, 'cause I already did that in the leak topic, I just want to say here too: 13 Voices is amazing, totally worth the wait and I can't wait to hear some new songs live, hopefully next summer! Although I wish it wouldn't be on another festival where their time is limited, or at lest be them a headliner!
Whatever, 13 Voices is great, go listen the f*ck out of it!

Why oh why do they not provide uncompressed digital downloads? I ordered the vinyl but am going to have to keep trawling Soulseek and hope somebody has it in lossless.

Since I can't track my shipping I have no idea where my CD is so have to do with the download from Kickstarter and guess I won't get the CD today.

The music is just crazy awesome, the vocal is insane.
My personal favourites are 13 Voices, Goddamn I'm Dead Again and There Will Be Blood.

p.s. But I still hear some issues with mixing here and there.

I don't have a good ear for that, but honestly, beside the different file sizes, I don't see any differences from the leak version. I thought we would get the final version of War, at least from Pledge, since when it released a month ago, they gave us the youtube version. Whatever, at least I have both.
I also can't really tell if the mixes are bad... Although in some songs it's a bit hard to hear out Deryck's voice. But I wonder: when God Save Us All ends, should the outro continous fluently into The Fall and The Rise intro? I think it should and I wonder if in the CD version it happens?

Finally listened to it on Spotify at work today, I'm liking it! Fake My Own Death is an absolute fucking tune!! I can see why that was the first single!

Its my best album of them, my best songs are Twisted by design Goddamn Im dead again The fall and the rise and 13 Voices, maybe in other albums any song could be omitted but with 13 voices does not happen to me, they all have something that I love. It is an almost perfect album and I say almost because I hope his next album be like this, we really waited many years but they have done a great job, if your next CD is so good like this I wouldnt care waiting another 5 years.
The wait was worth it, i have bought a signed vinyl and a CD with shirt, every euro is well spent.

An interesting "track by track" with Deryck.

I am genuinely blown away. I know the pop-punk holy trinity (blink-182, Green Day, and Sum 41) all released new albums this year...but, in my opinion, Sum 41 reigned supreme. These guys came back in full force. Between Brownsound's face melting shredding and Bizzy D's infectious melodies, this album kept my head bobbing all the way through. 13 voices is easily my favorite album since Chuck. Great job, guys!
