And I still do. I'd love to see them track down even a short bit of a song. But the band doesn't think that's enough to be worth sharing, and I respect that. After all there's a chance people would go upset for such a small update, i.e. "I paid for this?!". I'm sure they would like to use PledgeMusic to post something that's worth sharing, and leave the small snippets to social media platforms. But as for now, since the drums were recorded, they don't seem to have enough such material to share.Lars wrote:That's strange, since you stated you disagree with Deryck when he was saying 'the recording process isn't that interesting to watch this time'.TomiT14 wrote:Yeah, we got daily updates during the SBM recordings, but most of it was footage of partying. There's no party this time around, and since the guys are recording at their homes, there's not much to film.
Oh, and you keep mentioning the 13 updates like it's a bad thing. Haven't followed any other campaigns, but to me 13 sounds quite decent.
Anyways, I understand why people may be upset, and you're entitled to your opinion. I just don't see how keeping on complaining about it would make it any better. After seeing/hearing the updates we've got so far, I'm excited to hear how the album turns out. Even after giving a lot of money to this campaign, I never thought I would be deserving any more updates that already have been released. I'm just excited to know that I had a part in making this album happen, and that alone is cool enough.
Some people here probably had high expectations for the campaign, and I don't blame you for it. But to the rest of us who are just excited about the things we've seen/heard, the constant complaining seems out of place.
One thing I know for sure. Complaining and concentrating on what we are missing won't make this situation any better, and therefore won't make this waiting game any more enjoyable.
