I downloaded the new iOS 6.01 software for my iPhone 5, as far as I know the download was fine.
I walked away while it was downloaded (my phone was synced) and the screen on my phone had the connect to iTunes symbol. But when I tried to sync it to my computer it said my phone was in recovery mode, and needed to be restored.
So when I hit restore and update, it goes to extracting software. Then I get an error.

So I can't use my phone at all right now.

Might putting it in DFU and restoring it from a backup help?

I couldn't even access my phone at all, it just had the connect to iTunes icon.


Anyways it magically fixed itself. This thread can be locked.
