I just found this article and thought there are some nice pieces of information about songs like no brains, the hell song, still waiting and over my head...so I wanted to share it with you.

obvisously no brains is about jon marshall. didn't know that.

Nice find! Although I was aware of all this before.
Didn't know Deryck dated the Hell Song girl though.

But not sure if No Brains is about Jon Marhsall. Afterall, the band said he's the best ex-member they've had, so to write a song like No Brains with so much anger doesn't fit with the picture. Unless Deryck wasn't as much of a fan as the rest of the band.

I'm surprised how many of you haven't heard about those before.
It wasn't that long ago when someone posted the story where they were talking about the recording process of DTLI.

And the article by NY Rock had all the same things with slightly different words.

From that article, I only knew what The Hell Song, Still Waiting, No Brains and All Messed Up were about. I didn't know what Over My Head was really about and the same with Mr. Amsterdam, although it sounds familiar after reading that it was about pop culture.
