Am I the only one who always needs to watch something in order to eat my chow peacefully ?

I ran out of South Park episodes,Alf episodes,NCIS episodes,Prison Break episodes or any other TV Show(X-Files are too difficult to watch and I wanna be fully aware of what's going on when I watch it, and House MD often gets too disgusting to eat while watching it ... )

so, do you watch shit while you eat ? I personally do that all the time, specifically now I am stuck with Beyond Belief

I do the same thing with my meals, unless I go out... As soon as I get my meal, I run right to youtube or some random site to watch things to eat to. I even tend to stop eating when the video stops playing due to buffering or playing issues, and then get back to eating when the video gets back to work.

I thought I was the only weird one when it came to eating =P

Other way around for me, I need to eat something to watch something peacefully.

i tend to eat lots of popcorn while watching movies im not sure if its just me or if other people do as well

I hardly watch TV to be honest but when I do or when I watch a film, I don't need food but I certainly need to make sure that I have enough tea to supply me through it.

I always watch tv when I'm eating, and around dinner time As the World turns is on. :)

I never watch TV, mine got broken and I have no intention to get another one, it's totally useless for me, why should I watch the shit according to a TV programme when I can watch whatever I want whenever I want it on my notebook ?

Television is kinda useless these days ...

I can't remember when was the last time I drank a cup of tea, it goes a loooong way back in time, but it's my lifestyle, I barely drink something else than clear water from the water main, the only exception is my urine and distilled semen from multiple species

Yeah I almost always get food before I watch tv. It's weird cuz I won't eat until commercials are over, so I have food to eat during the program haha!

I sometimes eat while watching TV, but I never eat if I'm watching something on my laptop. I don't like watching anything while I'm eating because I lose track of how much food I ate.

Whenever I watch something, I usually am eating. With breakfast I usually watch morning shows like breakfast television. Around dinner time there are certain shows I watch and then I get snacks for shows I watch later in the night. I eat when I'm at my laptop too. But I'm not right now since I just ate lunch, haha.

Haha, I do this too. I was watching Skins last night and I was eating icecream and there was like 5 mins before it was on so I saved it for 5 mins until the show started.

I never really noticed this with myself, however, I've found that if I'm watching a movie at home I have the urge to snack on something like chips and dip or junk like that. If I'm just watching TV I don't feel the need to eat anything.

most of you is talking here that they have urge to eat because they're watching something, but with me it is the exact opposite, I need to watch because I'm eating, like, I don't wanna just eat while looking at a wall or something, I wanna be fully entertained when I eat

and I do the same thing as Eric and Chelsea, I don't eat while commercials are on, cause they just bore me, just like I don't it when there is a break before the second half when I watch football

I just ate lunch and simultaneously read this topic.
