Again? I think that Deryck need a serious treatment for the backs. It is the third time they cancel shows because the backs ....
It would be a curse Warped Tour against Sum 41?

Well. I would be disappointed if they were on a North American tour and not the last few shows at Warped nowhere near me.
But I do hope he gets better. And that they tour across North America.

D should definitely take enough time off to let his back heal. If he just keeps going and going like the fuckin energizer bunny, he's going to do some serious damage.

Deryck said that he only cares about his fans. And honestly, I'm pretty sure most of his fans would rather have him take some time off to heal his back properly, than play some shows and just hurt it more.

Wow, I just shook my head when I read this. Deryck really needs to put his health first for once. The way he's been going lately it probably only just added to his injury because it hasn't healed properly and now look where he is. It's not good to hear this but I'm glad to know he's going to try and rest. We can only hope he has a fast recovery for the next tour! (Canadian one)

This is the SECOND time that they have cancelled a Winnipeg show because Deryck fucked his back up. Last time was in 2006, I have still never seen them play live and they used to be my favorite band, now I'm stuck with an $80 Rock on the Range ticket, with literally NO other good bands playing. I know it's not his fault and it's an uncontrollable circumstance but goddamn is it ever frustrating.

I cringed sooo hard when I read this. I just... I don't know what to think any more. He's going to get himself in a critical condition sooner or later if he doesn't do something...

I don't feel bad for Deryck so much as the fans. If you're in a touring band, and you set up shows, you should play them. Why can't Deryck play those shows with a messed up back? He doesn't necessarily need to move around much, or to even stand if he doesn't want to. He could sit in a fucking chair on stage for an hour for all I care.
I feel like they could also change up the set so that it's a bit slower and lighter if that was necessary. The point is, it's disappointing that he can't tour regardless. They shouldn't set up so many shows if they can't make it through the entire tour.

A MESSAGE TO ALL OUR FANS
During yesterday's show in Boise, Deryck sustained another back injury and we have been forced to cancel the remaining Warped Tour dates and the Canadian run that was to follow.
We hate canceling shows, but Deryck's well being is our top priority and the best thing right now is to give him time to heal.
Thank you for your understanding. We wish Deryck a quick recovery and look forward to getting back out on the road.

Well, I do believe last year when this happened for the second time, Deryck did continue to play other shows but now I guess from him not taking care of the injury properly and still playing shows, it has worsened to the point where now they really do have to make sure Deryck takes time off.
