Warped Tour 2011

Is anyone else going to Warped Tour this year? What date, who are you gonna see?

I know everybody’s saying the lineup is always getting worse. There are lots of crappy screamo, chrisitan, and pop rock bands on the tour now but if you dig deep enough you can find some great bands that are still playing.

I’m going to the Kansas City date for the 2nd time.

Bands I want to see:
Less Than Jake, Pepper, Passafire, A Day To Remember, The Expendables, Set Your Goals, Against Me!, The Aggrolites, Lionize, Street Dogs, Pour Habit, Wonder Years, Big D & The Kids Table, illScarlett, and Larry & His Flask.

I wish The Black Pacific, Sum 41, Tomorrows Bad Seeds, and The Menzingers were on my date.

Ah, fuck.. It's bad man. You can't lie. But yeah, I'll prolly go to the Cincinnati date. It'll be my first time seeing Sum 41.

The bands this year are absolute garbage, with the exception illScarlett, Paramore, Big D, Blacklist Royals, Foxy Shazam, Larry and His Flask, Less Than Jake, Lucero, Pour Habit, Pepper, Set Your Goals, Sharks, Street Dogs, Terrible Things, The Aggrolites, The Expendables, and the Wonder Years. Seems like alot but that less than 25% of the bands playing. And there are also a few great local bands playing like The Permanent Bastards, Junior Battles, and Cunter.

I'm attending the mississauga/toronto show! Pretty stoked for it. The summer just came so fast, it's hard to believe my date is like 2 weeks away from now. I ordered presale tix so hopefully I get them soon. (We had some stupid postal strike)

I'll be seeing Paramore, A Day To Remember and Enter Shikari. I'll check out some others while I'm there but for the most part, that's who I'm going for. It's too bad The Sums aren't making my show this year! haha.

WTF????? I had no fucking idea Sum41 was playing on Warped this year!??

I'm going to the Maryland show. I want to see The Devil Wears Prada, Asking Alexandria, A Day To Remember, Alesana, and Dance Gavin Dance that's about it. I want to see Sum41 but I guess they're not coming to Maryland this year.

Well, I actually like the line-up this year, too bad I don't live in the US. I mean, yeah the line-up is mostly post-hardcore/metalcore/screamo and stuff so so good thing I really love these kind of bands :glad:

Some awesome bands like A Day to Remember, August Burns Red, Asking Alexandria, Attack Attack! , The Devil Wears Prada, Paramore, Abandon All Ships, The Acacia Strain, We Came as Romans, Set Your Goals, Enter Shikari, Miss May I, Of Mice & Men, The Word Alive, Woe Is Me, Dance Gavin Dance, D.R.U.G.S, A Skylit Drive, Motionless in White, Madina Lake, and of course the Sums though they are just doing like 4 dates. I if I was living in the US, I would be going for all of these bands.

Abandon All Ships is a local band from Toronto that were on Disband. I can not stand there music but I saw them once during a label showcase and they have one hell of a live show and will probably be seeing them for this reason alone.

I thought they weren't playing the Toronto date? It doesn't make any sense why they would not, I just remember reading the dates they were playing and I don't recall that one being listed.

Haha one less band to see! I'm not really a fan of theirs either. I guess they only had enough room for the second half of the tour for them.
