Have you ever felt so broken?
That carrying on is hard?
Harder than you ever imagined
And letting go is the only hope
For sanity, to live another day

You try picking up the pieces off the floor
They’re heavier, you keep letting them go
Through your fingertips while your hands shake
Not knowing that going back to the beginning,
Was your biggest mistake and everything breaks

Letting go is the only way
And the sorrow sets in you pray,
Pray for light to guide you home
But before you know it the candle’s light blown
And you’re left in the darkness all alone

These four walls enclose you within
Tearing down everything you once knew
And the pain cuts through you, it stings
So hard and the pain seeps in
Your hands are shaken ready to let go
Of life as you know
Just let it go, just let it go

You can try to forget but you can’t
That life brought a change you couldn’t stand
Took a turn for the worst and hurts
Like a car crash it hits you
What you feared the most was knowing how it ends
And all that flashes through your head was how it began

These four walls enclose us all
The end is just a free fall
Down to nowhere while you look for that somewhere
A heaven on earth to save you
But the room’s filled with devils
And you sit there waiting for your angel

I pretty much like the feeling this poem has, and also it is well written ! keep it up, I can see that you really love writing, so don't ever give it up ;)
