A Different Guitar Sound

this is a band called The Bridgeheads(former name was The Bridge) who were pretty fucking doing they're own thing ...
the reason of this thread being named as it is named is that they have no bass guitar(on their last album called Foreigners) and to compensate for the lack of bass guitar, Tomas plays an octave guitar with no A-string, adding some deep and soft touches. - And I was just interested what do you think about it ? I think it's pretty awesome ...
here's two songs in which there still is a bass guitar from the times they were still called The Bridge and here's three songs with no bass guitar, but with the compensation that I've mentioned above, the videos are made by the singer himself, btw : I totally admire how he works with his voice
