Tell us your favourite videogame ever and why in one or two sentences. Should be interesting, I'll go first.

Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Ocarina took everything I knew that was good about computer games, multiplied it by ten and brewed it with unmatched cinematic beauty and presentation. An absolutely epic game that had everything.

as someone who has never been massively into video games, I'm going with Tony Hawks Pro Skater. it came out just as I started skating and I played it religiously, it was a huge part of making me fall in love with skating to be honest. the first 4 games in the series were all amazing, then it all went to shit.

Call of Duty 2. It's the game I've played the most. I started online gaming when CoD1 came out but I CoD2 was the first game I started playing "professionally". Had Qpad sponsoring us and all, pretty great time. And I played TDM in Team Finland for a while. I'll try to search some of our/my frag movies.

But other games worth mentioning: Tony Hawk's, Diablo 2, Mass Effect 2, Rayman, Uncharted 2 & first Pokemon games were pretty cool when I was a kid.

Just now? Portal 2.

It's not only the unique gameplay and storyline which grips you, but the wonderfully crafted environment and the outrageously good dialogue. If you don't love Portal, you simply do not have a soul.

Metal Gear Solid 1.

I just loved this game so much, it was different, it wasn't about being a one-man army, killing as many people as you can. It was a about sneaking around and not getting caught while trying not to kill all these people. My favourite game of all time and out of the series.

Super Mario World for Super Nintendo Entertainment System. I prefer the old school. :2cool4u:

We got the console from mum's cousin and as a kid I played Super Mario World all the time with my brother. It's a brilliant game, enough said. Besides Mario's awesome.

I actually hold Majora's Mask higher than Ocarina of Time. Why? Simple, MM is a very unique Zelda game, which people seem to forget. I could talk for ages about this, but I'll try to make myself short. First of all, MM is a very detailed game; every single character you meet fills a function, and have some sort of connection to the plot. By interacting with them you're thrown into their own unique little sidequest, and each sidequest is interesting in it's own way. You cannot help but be blown away by how the characters work, and you want to explore them and see how their stories end.

Second of all, the storyline. Throughout the game you stare up at that huge evil-looking moon that is about to destroy the world. Once it's time to visit the moon, you expect a dark and disastrous place, but instead you end up at a large shining meadow! That's what I call creepy. And the fact that you have to go back in time and relive everything all over again, re-interact with all the characters etc makes it even more interesting. I could go on and on and on about this, but I'm gonna stop here or else I'll bore you to death.
