Move over, Call of Duty. We have a new game, a REAL game. I bought Battlefield 2 back in '06, and loved it to bits. I honestly cannot wait for this- I'm buying a brand spanking new PC for it (Among other things). Any fan of FPS games who does not like Battlefield should burn. It's funny listening to all the interviews because they slag Call of Duty off to a laughable extent.

Well THIS is worth the wait! That looks awesome...Haha when Black Ops came out, it made me stop playing BFBC2 for maybe a week and then I was straight back on it again :) Although I do like COD games, they just don't quite cut it do they...xD

This is going to be fucking epic.

I really like COD games.. except for the ones made by treyarch.. BF2 was the first game I really played.. it was fucking awesome, I loved flying around in those planes and helicopters..

Is this battlefield 3 or battlefield: bad company 3. Based on everything here it's just battlefield 3, but i saw the same trailer on the 360 and it was labeled bad company 3.

Battlefield 3. BC3 does not exist and probably never will.

I cannot wait for this. I really wish I had a good PC, so I could play this on it. Oh well, I guess my Xbox will have to be good enough.

This looks totally badass, and I definitely plan on playing.

Something about Battlefield is just nicer than the CoD's...however MW3 is going to be so fucking epic if they manage to make it better than MW2. I'll probably but this Battlefield 3 though, looks awesome.

MW3 will suck. Even IW said MW3 wont be nearly successful as MW2/BO. Apparently theyre just redoing all the old maps from both MWs because they just cant make new ones. Battlefield will wipe its arse with MW3.

well considering the best part about MW2 was its campaign and co-op missions based off the campaign then i'm still thinking it will be pretty damn good.

i'm definitely not talking about any online here as I lost interest in the MW2 online quickly and black ops was lame.

i can still play the co-op from MW2 with friends whenever i go to their place, trying to get all the stars, if they improve on this in MW3 it'll be insanely awesome.

Well, I finally decided to cash out and get my copy... And I have to say, the game is fucking insane. I've always been a fan of Battlefield, but this blows every previous game out of the water, maybe even BF2 as well. Even on low-med graphics, the landscapes look awe-inspiring and still trump any maxed out COD game. My one serious complaint with the game is the interface. I hate how it's browser-based, which means not only do you spend most of your map-choosing, class-building time on an ugly browser interface when the in-game UI is so good, but also the game isn't available to play offline (which effects me in particular having no internet connection 90% of the time). I'm going to try and download an offline crack for it though. This problem wouldn't have happened if EA just released BF3 through Steam, because, quite frankly, Origin is a piece of shit.

Nevertheless, Battlefield 3 is an amazing game and I see no logical reason why anybody in their right mind would hold off buying this in order to get MW3.
