Easily one of my three most anticipated albums this year, been a huge fan of this band since before they made it big in the UK.

Not sure how popular they are in America, so for those of you who don't know them, here are a couple of tracks from their previous albums.

From Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not From Favorite Worst Nightmare From Humbug Now you may have noticed a darker tone to that last one, the album took an interesting turn as a result of Josh Homme taking on some producing duties.

So with that said here is the first single from their upcoming album "Suck it and See". I absolutely cannot wait for this, every album this band produces has a different tone from the last and I expect something unique but brilliant yet again from them.

Anyone else excited?

Their first album is one of my all time favourite albums.
Second album is ok. I remember going to buy it the day it was released and being utterly disappointed.
Third album was absolute shite.
New album sounds promising.

I loved every record so far, though it took a long time before I got into Humbug. But I like it now too. I look forward for this album. A lot.

Great band, can't wait to listen their new stuff.

Yeah, Humbug is such a left turn for the band I can see why peoples initial reaction to it is negative. With time though, it grows on you.

I don't know what to expect from this new album, and I'm not even sure what I want from it.
I wouldn't object to another Humbug style record, but at the same time, something inside wishes for a return to their more traditional sound. Time will tell I guess.

EDIT: I've noticed no one from the US has weighed in yet, I have no idea what the american opinion of the Arctic Monkeys is, anyone wanna jump in?

i love thier first album and the other two have a few good songs on em like florecent adolecents and crying lightning, but the new single is kinda disappointing

Heard few of the songs you put here, sounds like this retro 70s old school rock.. not bad. Any other time I guess I would get into that, but lately I'm really into heavy shit and hardcore and stuff with breakdowns and shit hehe.
