There hasn’t been an actual statement from the band yet, but they created an event on Facebook saying “Sum 41 on Jimmy Kimmel Live!” for March 31st!

Get pumped! What do you think they’ll play?

We won't be able to see whatever Sum 41 plays at 7 (I'm assuming PST) on TV. I don't think they'll play at 7 anyway. Jimmy Kimmel Live concert series they don't play full sets. The show comes on at 12am EST and they usually show the music at the very end. So Sum 41 will probably play maybe 3 or 4 songs at 12:50am EST (9:50 PST). We'll probably see SBM and maybe Blood In My Eyes on TV. This is how it always is. Same went for MCR in November. MCR only showed Na Na Na as an opener at 12:50, then showed Sing at 12:56 after a short commercial.

Guarantee they won't play Skumfuk at that or if they do it won't be televised.

Quote me on this:

SBM and BIME
SBM and The Hell Song
SBM and Fat Lip

- one of those three will be televised.

Yeah, they’ll probably play SBM because it’s a single.

I think they at least add videos of the other songs they play to the internet though.

They only play three maybe four. ABC sometimes adds them to Jimmy Kimmel's youtube channel otherwise the rest are just going to be shitty cell phone videos.

Still looking forward to this a lot. Sum 41 hasn't been on Late Night shows since at least 2007.

The song that is gonna be shown live on tv must be screaming bloody murder since its their first official single.

Definately playing Screaming Bloody Murder. They usually play one new song and an older song, or another new song.
Maybe SBM and Fat Lip. Really excited for this anyways! Was just wondering when they were going to be on there (or other late night shows)

they played Walking Disaster on Jay Leno, and With Me on Jimmy Kimmel back in 2007. im sure they played more because they were concert series, but they only televised the single songs on the actual show. i hope they show them playing Blood in My Eyes, but it'll probably be Screaming Bloody Murder.

Well , I dunno how many songs they play actually but on Jimmy Kimmel they always show only two songs. One which is the main song (probably gonna be SBM) and one that they just show at the end of the show, and most of the times they're not even showing the full song, but most of these get uploaded a day later to ABC's site or Jimmy Kimmel's youtube channel.

It was the same in 2007 with the Sums playing With Me as the main full song (which was the single they promoted then), and a part of Walking Disaster in the end, though the full one never made it to the internet.
Around two months ago A Day to Remember played on Jimmy Kimmel, and they did the main single All I Want, plus another new song Better Off This Way, which was not even a single.. and not shown fully, though it was then showed on Jimmy Kimmel's youtube. So my bet is SBM being the main song, and they might show some BIME, or considering what they did with ADTR.. the second one might be Skumfuk.

I don't think they will play Skumfuk. After all, it was very close to not making the album. Do you think that Sum 41 would want to show case "the worst song on the album" to the nation?

Probably BIME becasuse it's a new song or Fat Lip because it's their most famous song. I want to hear them play the Hell Song (as you can tell by my username), but for these shows, they usually want bands to play their really famous singles.

They probably won't, but it was the first song off of the album we heard, and even if it was the worst, it was still pretty good.

By the time March 31st rolls around, Blood In My Eyes would probably already be on the radio (just going by history, as Walking Disaster was released just before Underclass Hero dropped).

I'm guessing the two songs would be Screaming Bloody Murder and Blood In My Eyes. Possibly with the latter being the main song to be televised as it's would be the newer single.

Yeah, now when I think about it.. it's possible that BIME is gonna be the main song to promote, as when they played Jay Leno in 2007 and they played Walking Disaster, although I don't think it was even released as an official single then, it was just played on radio and leaked from there.. and they actually played Jay Leno on the day UH was officially released.

Anyway, I just hope they'll have more TV appearances cuz these are always cool. In the UH era they only played Jay Leno and Jimmy Kimmel, opposed to 2002-2003 when they played Hell Song and Still Waiting in all kinds of shows like Carson Daly, David Letterman, etc. and 2004-2005 when they played Pieces in all these TV shows, including at the Junos which was a great performance.

Has the band ever performed on SNL by themselves or was it just when they were with Ludacris? It would be awesome to see them on SNL.
