habits,
well probably the most different habit we've is that we usually have dinner really late, round 9pm, guess that's cos
a)lunch is our main meal, b) we've got more sunlight hours
drinking habits are also different, since the discos close really late, we don't drink as fast as the brits

family is really important for us, well at least mine is pretty close, my cousins are like bros to me and my sis
as for food, well, we've got plenty of good stuff, paella( but the one made with meat ), iberian ham, menjar blanc(dessert, translated would be something like white food),frog legs(taste like chicken), oh and people eat snails though i think it's disgusting

dunno what else

by words I mean just embarassing words in your language.. like 'klompendans'

around here we say if we're going for a walk; trot. WHADDYA AT THERE BUDDAHHH. is another one for what are you doing.
St. Patricks Day makes me sad because everyone here get's excited and has HUGE parties on George Street, which is downtown St. Johns. sadly I'm not old enough to drink so I cannot enjoy George Street at all. basically its a small street, but its mostly bars/pubs that tend to be open very late. Apparently it has the most bars and pubs per square foot of any street in North America.
