hey guys , I need agood video editing and movie making prog. if any one knows a good one ???

Windows Movie Maker I'm not good with computers so I should probably stay out of this thread

I use iMovie, it's simple and gets the job done.

Edit: It's Mac only btw.

I use Sony Vegas 7.0

You can use Adobe After Effects, Sony Vegas Pro if you want make a awesome video or you can use templates for those video editors, if you want a easy video editor you can use Windows Movie Maker or Hoonestech Video Editor and if you want put video effects like energy balls or other effects like those you can use Particle Illusion.

I personally find Serif MoviePlus to be both user-friendly and potentially very advanced.

Sony Vegas is great for basic stuff like transitions, cuts, cropping, fades, image adjustments, filters, just editing in general (I used Sony Vegas Movie Studio 10 Platinum for my latest videos, and Vegas 7/8 Pro before that). For special effects you need something like Adobe After Effects.
