reason i "dislike" the States. gas Prices. right now it is $1.169 a LITRE for gas where i am (thats $4.42 per "US" Gallon), and i see on american news when they complain that gas is too high when its over $3.30 a gallon. it's total crap especially since in Canada, we drill our own oil in northern Alberta why is it so high?

also, did you know that the USA tried to invade Canada, and failed? then we burnt down the white house? oh ya, that was a good day.

The American colonies declared war to invade and take over the british colonies of Upper and Lower Canada (modern day Ontario and Quebec). The British came over and helped defend their colonies and subsequently burned down the white house. but i'm sure it wasn't solely one or the other. "Canadian" and British troops both defended and attack the States, but because Canada wasn't "technically" a country yet, most people believe it was just the British. Also, my memory is a little hazy. we went over all this, plus the early history of all Canada and some bit of the States and the 13 colonies in grade 12 Social. i don't remember it all clearly cause it was a very heavy semester.

well I see difference here.. Czechs take shit on Rosicky, Cech and others too. I hate it, they cannot support their OWN players. It seems to me we're bunch of idiots. Really hard to find some cool people around here. I'd like to move to England, maybe further - Canada/USA someday, not sure about it of course. But I don't fit this country..
