Exactly, we've got something ridiculous like 40% unemployment and the most corrupt politicians on the planet, but the people in this country are too pampered to stand up and be counted. That's what happens when you go from being a third world country to an economic powerhouse on the back of non-existant money in three decades, I suppose.

It's a cruise and we're stopping off in Alexandria for two days (Alexandria is just as bad as Cairo. A fucking bomb exploded there last week, people have been killed on the streets there, the army opened fire today in the city)
