Sum 41 are back and will be hitting up New.Music.Live. next week! On Monday January 31, the boys from the band will be live in the studio to chat about their new album and what they have been up to since we last heard from them.

Im 99% sure I'm going to be attending this, just waiting to get a phone call back. When I got home today I went back in my tweets and saw that they were going to be on the show live. I basically had a heart attack. For those of you who do not know what New Music Live is, (Used to be called Much On Demand) it is a music based entertainment show in Toronto, Ontario that plays music videos and includes special guests, featuring live concerts aswell. The Sums have been there numerous times and I'm excited I can finally be there for this as they haven't be back on the show since 2008. Hopefully we'll get some more news on the album.

I had no idea that this show used to be Much On Demand. Hope you can make it!

Thanks guys! They usually call within 24 hours back, so I'll probably know by tomorrow. And they recently changed it before the summer when they were getting the studio redone. They got new VJs along with the new studio and changed the show a bit with a new stage for performances so it looks slightly different, but all and all, it's the same you could say! I'm really excited, and it was very unexpected because like I thought they wouldn't be there until at least the album was out or on tour. I really hope they don't get repeated interview questions.

Yeah, didn't know they changed their name, hope you get to go!

If no one can't, it will be up on their website (http://www.newmusiclive.ca) asap. They have a video and photo section.

You can also watch it live via the website, but I don't know if that only applies to Canadian residents.

How do you know you're gonna be going? Did you get tickets or something?

Yes. It's a live audience and I've been to the show numerous times.

I thought on all of their last appearances there on Much they did interviews as well as performing like 2-3 songs. I think when they were guests there on Much when UH was released they did an interview, as well as playing UH, Walking Disaster and Confusion and Frustration.
In 2002, it was a really funny show I remember with them, and they also played Still Waiting and something else.

Yes, that's how it usually works but since they had Shawn Desman booked before Sum 41, I guess their just doing an interview. Next time I'm sure they'll be playing!

Sum 41 > Shawn Desman.
