Well this is a very rough draft right now, I write quite a bit of lyrics in my spare time...here's one:

I try to achieve perfection
but it's really just a reflection
of how I let you down
squeezed your hand let go
and watch you fall
I try to make you smile
never lasts more than awhile
there's always something I could do
but never realized till after

well I can pretend I'm an angel
just rugged, scuffed, roughed up wings
clipped and tattered
and I can no longer sing
the harmonies of happiness
till I know you're happy
till then I'm your fallen angel
banish me, there's nothing else to tell
