SOAD Reunion rumors? woot??

So where are you guys are taking all these SOAD reunion rumors from? I have heard nothing about it... but now Bobby mentioned it in the Blink thread, that SOAD might be playing Download or whatever in 2011, its pretty exciting and cool if they are reforming, but Serj is always saying it's not going to happen.. plus Scars On Broadway are working on a new album, I think, and Serj is touring his own latest album. From where is the info that they are reforming?

They perform a show in 2011 and in an interview they were talking about reuniting the band and such things.

Wow, if this is really happening then it's awesome! Cuz I just read that Shavo has twitted something in this twitter about a SOAD reunion, now I saw it and this is it:

Just saying System of a Down :] with a smiley, but I think I read somewhere that later after than Serj still said that nothing in currently happening with System...

Everybody in the comments in Ultimate Guitar says an official announcement from the band is coming this Monday.

It´s probable in 2011. The festival of Sonisphere in Getafe (Spain) is trying to take them.

so they are together again but they have no plans for a nwe album ...but still better than nothing ! I will try to catch them in Austria

With the way they make it sound, it seems they will do this one-time reunion tour in the summer of 2011, then return to their solo projects. I mean, they were in the middle of stuff anyway... Serj promoting his latest album, Daron just returned to Scars on Broadway and they released a new single and started playing shows again... so it seems for me like this reunion will only be in a tour through 2011 and that's it, but I hope they will release a new album! It could be very awesome!

Even though I am not a SOAD fan, I hope they come tour the Americas for the fans in this region of the world (Yes including South, Central, and North America =))
Otherwise that would just be a rip off =/ (sucks having to watch performances through youtube =/)
