1. 88
2. we're all to blame
3. still waiting
4. mr. amsterdam
5. slipping away
6. there's no solution (acoustic version)
7. pieces (too much of a ripoff of coldplay's "the scientist" to be higher)
8. subject to change
9. king of contradiction
10. the bitter end (too much of a ripoff of metallica's "battery" to be higher)
11. best of me
12. handle this
13. no reason
14. the hell song
15. some say

Don't you ever call Pieces a ripoff.. it is so much better. The starting guitar tone is one of my all-time favorites.

1. Some Say
2. Pieces
3. Speak Of The Devil

Here are mine, but in no order as it usually changes around my mood or what's going on in life.

1. No Reason
Arguably my all-time favorite Sum 41 song. The first time I heard its screaming intro on Chuck I thought, "Wow, Sum 41 is fucking back and they're making sure people know it." Since that moment I've been wanting Deryck to write another song with that attitude and edge. The chorus is melodic as hell, one of the best Deryck's written. It's straight-forward and doesn't waste time.

2. Skumfuk
Maybe it's because it's a new song, but I love the intro with the drums. Everything in this song is interesting. The drum beat, the bass lines, the chord progressions and the melody of the chorus. I love how it feels like it was put together in 10 minutes, with the feedback at the start and Deryck's vocals sound like he did them in one good take. The chorus melody is my favorite part what made me fall in love with this song.

3. Over My Head (Better Off Dead)
This is the song that made me want to learn guitar. I remember thinking the riff on this song was so cool. Like No Reason, it's just straight-forward and rocks out. I love when the bridge kicks in. The bridge is my favorite part of the song.

4. Still Waiting
Just a good song, good riffs, good message? Haha, I can't elaborate any further!

5. Mr. Amsterdam
Refer what I said about Still Waiting. Also, I love when Deryck sings the "What are we achieving with the bullshit that we're fed?" line.

6. Hyper-Insomnia-Para-Condrioid
This song made me want to get Does This Look Infected. It wasn't the first Sum 41 song I ever heard, but for some reason it was the song that sold me and made me go, "I have to get this album." Not even Over My Head or Still Waiting did that for me.

7. Pull the Curtain
This is probably the best written song on Underclass Hero and quite possibly the best song Sum 41 has written besides 88 when you take into consideration all the elements (instruments, song arrangement, etc). I love the scream and the second half of the song is brilliant with the three vocal melodies and ending with the piano. The song is all over the place and that's why I like it.

8. We're All to Blame
I don't like how this song gets compared to Chop Suey as the only thing that makes them similar is a fast and heavy verse contrasting a slow and melodic chorus. Either way, I love how the song is arranged like that and it sends a shiver down my spine every time the last chorus kicks in. It's so anthemic and I like the story of how it was conceived with Deryck playing it to his answering machine while he was in the Congo. Also this song being the only one written during/post-Congo makes it special in a way.

9. Pieces
A song I've recently started to really, really like. I don't know why, but before I never used to think much of this song. Maybe I just wasn't into the slower stuff or I couldn't relate to it back then. Now, I'm listening to it every day. Sometimes I like to tell myself I'm better off on my own, but let's face it, girls are awesome.

10. 88
All things considered, this is probably the best Sum 41 song ever written right now. Take in musicality, instruments, progression, it was what was to be the basis of the songs on Underclass Hero. It starts of with a riff, then becomes slow with acoustic guitars and piano. It then rocks out a melodic chorus with an interesting chord progression and ends on a heavy note with palm muted guitars and a wicked solo. The ending sounds like some eerie, sci-fi, spaceship music and really closes the album nicely. There's so much in this song and I never really saw it like this until I saw Deryck's "5 Songs That Changed My Life" thing in a magazine and had 88 listed.

11. Noots
My favorite B-Side from Chuck. A lot more upbeat than some of the songs off the album and I kind of wish it would've made the cut. I like the guitars as they reminded me of that garage-rock/The Strokes kind of tone. It was a nice change from the heavy, palm-muted, metal tones on the rest of Chuck.

12. Some Say
I like listening to this song when I'm reflecting upon all the growing up I have done in my life. I love the solo too or whatever you want to call it. It doesn't melt your face off, but it's lovely.

13. Angels with Dirty Faces
Another good song to just rock out to. My favorite part is the "Obsession has begun, possessed by destruction" parts because they're more upbeat, haha.

14. No Brains (Actually the live version of it from 2002-2003ish)
The extended bridge is what I love about the live No Brains, especially during 2002-2003 because Deryck got the crowd to chant "Hey!" and when I saw this on the Sake Bombs DVD it sent shivers down my spine. I also love Deryck's voice in that performance even though he's really straining. It sounds awesome.

15. Speak of the Devil
It's nice to know how to perceive certain songs after the songwriter tells you what the song is about. I really like this song for the change in points of view; how the first verse and chorus is that of the devil (aka: Deryck's personal demons) and the second verse and chorus being Deryck himself. It was really interesting and something new to me, so this song really stood out. Also, it was one of the few songs on Underclass Hero where people didn't go "this song sounds like this song!"

I could find my 15 favourite Sum 41 songs, but I couldn't get number to each one, or I would have to change it every week. Because I've got "The Hell Song season", "In too Deep season", and there is maybe another 10-20 seasons, in which I listen to those songs several times per hour :D.

Seriously I hate when people say that song is by them. I get so mad, I tell them it's a band called Lustra. That's how you know they're not true fans.

coldplay is actually an incredible band and i prefer them to sum 41 - so how's that for a comparison...
not that i don't like the sums - obviously i do, they're like my 5th or 6th favorite band - but coldplay are amazing as well. and if you're gonna bash them just cuz of their genre, that's just being ignorant. they have some amazing songs, and anyone who tries to deny the fact that 'pieces' is an absolute ripoff of 'the scientist' is being equally ignorant. ps where the fuck is sbm already!?!?!?!?!
