Coming from someone who doesn't smoke weed, it was absolutely retarded not to pass it. It would have taken money out of the hands of the criminals and given it to the government. We're billions of dollars in debt and this would have created a multibillion dollar industry and created thousands of jobs. There's nothing wrong with weed, Californians are fucking retarded.

tbh, it was one of the few American things that made sense. I'd have voted yes to that.

Think of how much governments waste on dealing with people carrying an ounce of weed? It just makes sense.

when dringing alcohol and smoking cigarettes is allowed than weed should be as well ...you know ...drunk people like to insult and provoke a fight that they usually loose ...I had a fight with drunk people two times ...but none of the people I knew they were high ever attacked me ...but with drunk people it is much different ...and the sad thing about drunk people is,that they provoke and it's fucking easy to take them down ...sometimes they have a good hold-off but there's no attack that could surprise you ...

...all I wanted to say was that drunk people are much more dangerous to other people then the ones who smoke weed ...

Agreed. I live in Cali, and knowing that our state is heavily in debt the way it is, this would've been a step in the right direction.

I think we should ban cigarettes and alcohol if we are banning drugs that aren't bad for you. How about we also remove guns? They kill people, they are bad for you! This is a stupid thing to do, this could have helped the United States.

Oh and the bill wouldn't have done shit, the feds would have still made it illegal

Actually, all of the people in Northern California voted no. They grow the medical weed up there and had it been legalized, they were worried that big cigarette companies like marlboro would have come in and run them out of business.

this. people are going to buy/smoke weed whatever you do. at least this way you can regulate how safe the weed is and less money will be going into the criminal world.
