This morning I was watching MTV2 and I did not know what happened. All my favorite bands of the past were on the television with a new single. They all come this year with a new album, some bands early next year.

Sum 41 (this is going te be gold, for 100% sure!!)
My Chemical Romance (idiots, but their single is really brilliant)
Linkin Park (well, but I had expected more)
Good Charlotte (great new single)
Blink 182 (does anyone know when the album is coming?)
Kings Leon (not a real fan of the band, still curious)
Pendulum (Not 2011, I'll go to their concert, also to eastpack tour)

Too bad those bands did not come with a new album

all these bands I'm out of my mind, so I think this is the best music year for me ever. The bands are very mainstream, yet this is my music taste, and I'm proud!

Three Days Grace just released a new album last month. Don't know about the others though.

Actually, I wasn't thinking about Three Days Grace at all. I was having a dumbass moment there and thinking of Disturbed. No idea why.

Hoobastank just released an album, some kind of "Greatest hits".
Breaking Benjamin has not released any info about any new album yet.

One band I hope will release a album very soon is Yellowcard! They are in the studio, don't know how far into the album they are. But I rather see the album this fall than 2011 ; ).

Yeah, the article with Sum 41 in Alternative Press was part of some "Comeback Kids" feature that had all the bands that were rising up in early 2000 and are coming out with new albums this year or next. Good Charlotte, Yellowcard and Hawthorne Heights were part of that list as well as Simple Plan. As much as I think Simple Plan are a bunch of whiners, I'm interested in hearing new songs by them.

Two albums? That would be fucking sick.

I heard Yellowcard's album is scheduled for a March 2011 release, and they only entered the studio on September 18, while the Sums started recording on January 2010 and finished around June 2010, and we get it around the same date hehe.

Well, I heard sometime in 2011, but it's getting closer to it and I don't think it's gonna happen anytime soon. You know how Blink are taking their time with this album.
