I'm studying Translation, and one of the aspects we're gonna do is accents, we started with cockney which is fucking weird, scottish goes next.
I personally find it amusing, i mean you guys(english speaking people) can't barely understand each other

, spanish is essentially the same everywhere, except for some words

The reason Birmingham is so violent is infact because talking with the accent makes people want to kill you.

the Welsh is the best accent, on a hot bird anyway. Scouse & Geordie are pretty funny too.

you wouldn't believe the amount of people that put on that accent, it's the official chav accent. I know plenty of people who have lived in Lowestoft (over 100 miles away from London, we all talk like farmers here) all their lives yet over the last 5 years have developed a (poor) cockney accent. it wouldn;t surprise me if it's the same where Jake lives.

It's pretty much the same except for the fact there aren't that many.

My accent is quite heavy Scottish I've been told. The english folk at work hate when I refer to a spring onion as a cibie.

I wouldn't say posh, it's understandable, a non native speaking like myself had no problem with edimburg accent and my english is far from perfect
