On a regular, day to day basis, does anyone here turn their cellphone off at night? I told a couple of my friends that I did and they looked at me funny. But the chances of getting a phone call at 2AM all the time are unlikely and my phone's battery seems to last longer when I turn it off for the night.

The only times I keep my phone on all night are when I'm going out.

I never turn my phone off. I use my phone as my alarm so it stays on at night.

I turn my mobile off at night too except for the nights that I'm on call from work so sometimes I can't. :( When it is off, if someone really need to get in contact with me then I have a landline phone. I'm with you Jer.

Although, in Britain we call them our mobile phones :D

I don't think i've ever turned mine off other than to reboot it after updating.

I used to but now I don't. I should, though, because I'm pretty tired of the drunken phone calls I get at 1am.

The only time I turn it off is if it is being gay and I have to reboot it. I pop it on the charger at night when I go to bed.

I turn it off because I sleep right next to it and it's giving out all kinds of signals and shit.

my head is fucked anyway, so any radiation I'm getting from mobile phones, microwaves or cows won't cause anymore damage.

No I don't. Only when my battery is low and I'm too lazy to charge it.
