I have posted about this band before, and the majority of this website didn't like them.
I think this band is fucking amazing. It took until I saw them live to actually enjoy them, but now I fucking love this band so much. They are probably best known as one of the former bands of current Escape The Fate vocalist, Craig Mabbitt. This band, to me, sounds different from everyone around them. They sing enough to fit in with the (current) post-hardcore fanbase, but they are really heavy. The band has toured with both the lighter hardcore bands, as well as extremely heavy bands.
They will be releasing an album titled Deceiver on August 31st. They use a lot of synthy / electronic elements, but they are pretty fucking heavy.

Re: The Word Alive
They're not that bad, but this electronic influenced (post-)hardcore got really boring in the last few years. The only band I like is Enter Shikari.

Re: The Word Alive
This band sounds nothing like Shikari... I don't see it at all. I love the guitar work that they do. The music is so much better than x other band in this genre. I dunno.Mr-David-Blues wrote:hate it when bands try to sound like Shikarisoft-punker wrote:They're not that bad, but this electronic influenced (post-)hardcore got really boring in the last few years. Yeah man, Enter Shikari fuckin sucks. I hate when bands try to sound like them. It's an insult to TWA for Shikari to have even been mentioned alongside.Mr-David-Blues wrote:hate it when bands try to sound like Shikarisoft-punker wrote:They're not that bad, but this electronic influenced (post-)hardcore got really boring in the last few years.
