I don't know much about Yellowcard, but from what I have heard so far they seemed to be alright .. until I saw this, LOL. This is just incredibly retarded, hahahaha. His awkward smile and pointing with his hand while saying it, was the best.

But I remember Deryck saying during the DTLI-tour the same thing: "Make sure nobody is getting hurt".

fuck ...I watched videos of normal Wall of Death ...now I understand but still don't think that this was awkward ...
and to the sentence "make sure nobody gets hurt" ...fans of Yellowcard are not used to doing something like this ...fuck that just means that you're right and they shouldn't have done it :D but still I don't find it funny ...

I hate when bands say "I want you to [do something]" or "sing along" or "are you ready?".
Just play the fucking song and let people do what they will with it. Only talk about the future of the band or if you have a funny story to tell. That's what I'd say to them.

I think the 'make sure nobody's getting hurt'-thing is cool. Maybe the music isn't as loud and fast as in metal, but there sure are people moshing. And it just plain sucks when you get seriously hurt in a mosh and nobody helps you.

No, it's stupid and hypocritical. They think this shit is entertaining, while the people in the center, who really don't want to do this, are fucked by group pressure. So they only say this to avoid having to take the blame or feel guilty in case anything goes wrong. If they would really care about everyone being alright, they wouldn't tell the crowd to form walls and then run into each other like crazy fucking retards!
But in this situation it was just plain dumb and hilarious, because there was barely more than one step between the two 'walls' and there was no way of anyone getting seriously hurt in that.

they did this when I saw them in 2006. was pretty funny. nothing compared to when Skindred done it at Download a couple of years back. now that was a wall of death!
