has this been played live ever.... i was looking for one on youtube .. and i never noticed that they left it out ov the sum41.com live session thing .. anyone know why

Never been played. Probably 'cause it has so many layered guitars and other stuff that it wouldn't sound good with normal line up.

yeah, I think the layers make it difficult to play live with the same emotion and effect, so I wouldn't ever count on a live version

what layers ..couldnt they pull it off with 2 guitars

They could probably play it live, but like Heather said, it wouldn't have the same effect and emotion as the original song (much like many songs from Underclass Hero). And with Deryck's divorce, I doubt we'll ever hear a live version.

I'd say it's because they don't want to play slow songs. And well Deryck doesn't seem to enjoy using pedals either. Also it may have something to do with the absense of an acoustic guitar because it wouldn't sound right with an electric unless you really messed with the settings for just that song.

I love that song.

i prefer upbeat jumpy songs played live much better atmousphere

Those types of songs can't be played live. Sort of like Blinks Always which sounded shit live.

It's a shame it wasn't played on UH Live at the studio session either.

I disagree, I think the song is lame and uninspired, plus the chorus is toothless.

I'm sure Astronaut was played live when it came out. That means around 1996-1999.
Always is a B-side, so that was included in the list.
The Jester was played in the summer of 2007 in some shows, Germany being one of them.

ive never understood why Open Your Eyes hasnt been played live its awsome
