I almost always use in ear noise reducing headphones

I always bought Sennheisers until my last pair, which i payed quite a bit for, broke when i accedently droped them from about 1 ft and it totally knocked the bass outa them :sosad:

I spent a lot of money on headphones once and regretted it.

If you want iPod headphones then just get some in ear Sennheiser CX300/500 or whatever the latest model of that range is. Great headphones, they're really cheap and you can shove them in your pocket.

My dad uses some Sennheiser noise cancelling ones which work really well but are probably more expensive than some in ear headphones which cut out all the noise anyway.

I agree. I have a pair of CX500 and I am very happy with them, unlike the AKG I had before (broken twice - loss of volume on one side for no reason). I use them for outside and underway, as well as for drumming to songs (since I don't have monitoring, I just don't put one side in as far as the other - does the job, although real monitoring is a lot more fun and easier to play with).

At home on the computer I have some old Philips SBC HP900 HiFi Stereophones. I have no idea if they are good or not, I just got them from where my father works and they sound pretty good and I'm also very used to them. They used them for voice-over monitoring there, I think.

Yeah, I have a pair of SkullCandy's too. I think they're the "Ink'd" ones, just those little ear buds. Great bass on those bad boys. But I listen to my music when I sleep, so the grippy-ness of the wires tugs on the sheets and the wires get damaged.
