Hey Guys,
I think you all have Speak of the Devil...listen to 1:25 minute. There's a piano,or something like this, and it plays the wrong notes.

Do you know other mistakes of Sum 41 ??

theres no mistake in music, its the way it was recorded, they obviously did it purposely.

i think the word DICKHEAD sums you up nicely.

you DO NOT make 5 albums and be extremely popular and rich, and then make a mistake like that. I am telling you, sir, and your gay teacher, that they did that on purpose.

..oh man..what a friendly forum...... my teacher only said it's wrong ,because this note, doesn't fit into the key. ...it's not even dissonant. and if you say it's modern art...sry, but sum 41 is making music!!! and no modern art!! this note sucks... i know a lot of people listened to the songs..but that note is wrong..

its only wrong if you didnt mean to put it there.

they put it there on purpose, and it sounds different, which is good and not bad.

haha yer a joke buddy. it sounds out of place cause deryck wanted it too. its not like he was recording the song for the first time, screwed up the note, said 'meh' and slapped it on the cd.

....in fact the note sucks...and if deryck wants it there it's his shit. he as a songwriter can do what he wants to....

but what i wanted to say is that the tone is actually wrong there...but he wanted it so

the clue is in your title, you said it was a MISTAKE when it clearly wasnt.

It was intentionally off key. I noticed it too, but if it was accidental, they wouldn't have let it slide.

(Why did you play Speak Of The Devil for your music teacher? I hope you weren't checking to see if it was off-key, because it doesn't take a genius to know for sure that it is)

the song is supposed to be dark, and how do you get it dark? hit notes you wouldnt normally hit, and thats what he did.
