Green Day?

Post by Jake-41 »

Looking into some music i've tried to ignore. I've listened to Green Day since i got into music. But the only albums i've heard in full are Dookie, American Idiot, and 21cbd.

So what's the best album i haven't heard?

I heard American Idiot on the radio when I was little and my dad his trusty old copy of Nimrod to give to me. Great album!

Dookie, Insomniac, and Nimrod are nostalgic masterpieces in my opinion. Warning:, 1039, Shenanigans, and Kerplunk! are great to, but don't have the same feeling as the others. Not a fan of American Idiot and 21CBD, but I guess their entertaining.

I only listened to Warning,American Idiot and 21 Century Breakdown...but with your posts it seems like a mistake...I'll check out the older ones ...
This is Mark Allen Hoppus. He likes long walks on the beach. This, this is travis barker. He likes to be read poetry just before sunset. And me, I like to stick small pieces of furniture up my butt.

Probably nimrod. and Warning. They both have more variation on them as opposed to say, Insomniac (even though that's my favourite Green Day album), which is pretty much 14 fast, angry, punk rock songs. nimrod has a little more variation such as obviously Good Riddance, Take Back, Last Ride In, but it doesn't have as much as Warning, which is hideously underrated.

You could try listening to Shenanigans too. That's also great.

Kerplunk! There you have a awesome record! Smoothed also have some really cool solos on it, but other than that Kerplunk is way better.

Definitely Warning. It's so underrated, but it's an album you should listen to. Not a traditional punk rock album, but lots of great songs that fit in their style.

Too bad they hardly play any Warning songs live anymore. :sosad:

Probably Nimrod or Warning. If you can't decide just buy International Superhits.
