I've got the mobile theme to a "working" state, however you cant view a full list of forums, only a list of your posts/recent posts. It currently works best in opera for iphone, so download i you dont have it.

If you dont like it, navigate to:
http://theresnosolution.com/forum/?style=7
For the usual theme.

If you want to preview it on your PC, then go here:
http://theresnosolution.com/forum/?style=13

It will revert to normal by removing the style=X part.

Omg, this is sex. Super fast too, unlike how it was loading the full site. Thanks Jake!

I would be eternally grateful if you could post any errors in this thread, including error messages, URL, type of device, Browser/Version and screenshots if possible.

I'm also wondering if I should make it a little more colourful...

Your thoughts?

*Edit* Could i also get some screenshots from blackberries/android/Windows mobile/any other phones.

I managed to try it for a little while on Safari for the iPhone but the internet where I'm at is terrible so I'll give you a proper review when I'm home in a few days. Looks good though!

For me it doesn't download the 'forums' page, everything else loads fine though. Device: Nokia 5730 XpressMusic, Browser: The usual one on S60 Nokia.

I should point out that it's perfect when I use Opera Mini 5

opera does seem to be the second contender, after safari, which it was written for.

Yeah, I had a play about with my BB browsers and it's very much useable, the only problem I can find it what you see in the Screenshots. I actually prefer Opera Mini but I don't like using it all the time for websties I log in to because of the Server Side Caching.

EDIT: Testing out the posting function on my BlackBerry Curve 8520 on the bundled BlackBerry Browser.

DESKTOP PC EDIT: Seem to post fine!

I don't know how to take screenshots with my phone, but the forums look just the way they do in your photos Jake. I have no idea what browser I'm using. It's the default one on my LG. Seems to work fine though. I downloaded Opera Mini 5 Beta (the only Opera browser I could find) but the browser wouldn't start up when I tried it.

Well, i've borrowed a HTC hero, Nexus One and some motorola running android. They all load fine in opera, so i think i can call that part a success. and if you are worried about the server side caching, i think this mobile theme loads fast enough to be able to disable it. The longest part of the load is the detection of the mobile device then redirecting to the correct style ID. Which i doubt they'd cache.

I've gotten so much work done on TNS today... Have even half written the back end for a new News Management System for the main site, should we decide to use it. Although i think we're going with wordpress.

What a day.

Even seemed to have fixed the issue of admins/mobs not being able to see "deleted" posts, which proved to be a nightmare.

*grin* *skip* *giggle* *dance* *sing*

*edit* the chat box however, refuses to co-operate.

I'm pretty pumped, iPod touch seems to work fine. Except I was so excited I made a new topic in the mod section, and now I can't delete it. Oh well.
