they don't break up in series 7, I'ts just something that happened while Vince was in rehab (the 3 months between each series). though I'm sure the whole story will come out during this series. I think it's something to do with Eric and Scott taking over the management firm that was Sloan's Godfather's, I guess it just escalates form that.
