I've completely rebuilt the forum seeing as the old one was using up about 120000 of our 250000 allowed inodes :S
(it's now using less than 2000 :S).

No, It's really a behind the scene/under the hood sort of maintenance. There shouldn't be any visual changes as far as I'm aware.
