And the next Green Day single is...

Last Of The American Girls.

So it's the 5th single after Know Your Enemy, 21 Guns, East Jesus Nowhere and 21st Century Breakdown, and it's probably the last one too (American Idiot had 5 too).

I didn't even think of it as an option for a next single, but now when I think of it, it fits well in the radio scene.
I was hoping for one of the Viva La Gloria's though.

Suprised.. Really, i am. Horseshoes and Handgrenades, Before The Lobotomy, Restless Heart Syndrome and even Murder City are all easily way better songs than Last Of the American girls.

I'd like Static Age, but i guess it sounds too much like Church on Sunday.

Yeah, eventhough it's not that special of a song, I like it and it sounds very radio-friendly.
Church On Sunday? Never crossed my mind, I don't know about that. :silly:

Well that I can agree with. The first time I listened to Eulogy I noticed the similarity right away. :silly:
And to me it's a bit of surprising how similar those two sound.

I honestly can't stand this song, did not want it to be a single at all. I was hoping for American Eulogy or See the Light, I think both songs could've done really well and See the Light is one of the more underrated songs on the record. But Last of the American Girls? Come on man..

Me too. I was hoping for Restless Heart Syndrome myself.

Yeah, but that song reminds me too much of Boulevard of Broken Dreams, still would've rocked. I think LAM is a bad choice, as if 21 Guns didn't get overplayed at high school dances and on the radio, here we go again. Talk about deja vu.

Yeah, tell me about it. It was great, 21 Guns, the first time I heard it. I loved it. Then after a while it becomes like a really, really sweet treat. You know it's good, but you want to take small bites because any more would be too much.

Good analogy! I'd compare it to cocaine, its good and all, but you can get addicted to it and look like a loser, such as the case with everyone who worships 21 Guns :silly:
