hey everyone, its not sum41 (sadly) but i recently did an acoustic cover of dumpweed by blink-182 and i thought i'd share it with you all. im really trying to make music my career and have a few of my own songs written. let me know what you think about it!

Dude, i'm really not being a prick here, i swear, your cover sounded good, well most of it, but if you wanna "make music your career" i think you should do a hell lot better than that!
And once you started singing, your voice was like...Out there, you know? i couldn't hear the guitar anymore, i like it how you tried to add your personal style, but it kinda ruined it in the same time.
I think you should record guitar and vocals separately, then mix the two tracks together using Audacity or Mixcraft, i think would sound better.

I actually thought it was pretty good, I liked the way you gave it your own touch and didn't just do it note-for-note of the original song just with acoustic guitar.

thanks everyone, sorry, i didn't have much time to mess around with it and perfect it. and yeah, the black screen i haven't figured out yet, i just exported the file as a mp4 so i could put it up on youtube thanks for all the feedback though!
