Sum 41 / SBM discussion

Right, anything whatsoever to do with the recording of the album that includes pictures, twitters, MySpace posts and even videos. There's been a few updates on the sums twitter but I can't be arsed going to find them.

My guest would be something else : let's say that the bass drum could sounds like a "duh" instead of a "too" because it's isolated in a better way.

I looked at the picture again and your absolutly right, I was talking about the wrong carpet xD, I never even noticed that one

I think covering the bass drum like that ensures that the mic only picks up the sound of the bass drum and not the cymbals and snare aswell. It provides a clearer bass drum sound, I'm guessing. If that's correct and they're doing more stuff like this, then the album will probably be their best sounding album yet. And that makes me excited.
